Kendra Low, CEO & Co-Founder
Kendra Low has 20+ years of experience working in corporate and sustainability governance. An experienced corporate secretary, corporate and sustainability governance professional and business strategist, she has advised boards and managed the governance function for publicly-traded, private and not-for-profit organizations through different phases of organizational growth including start-up, financing and development. She is also the founder and principal of a private strategic advisory and governance consulting firm that works with large energy, pulp & paper, and mining companies, crown corporations and small not-for-profit organizations. Her clients include BC Hydro and Enbridge. She has been and continues to serve as a director and/or officer of a number of public companies. Kendra holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC.
Robert Kiesman, Co-Founder
Robert Kiesman is a private business owner and corporate lawyer who specialized in securities law and mergers & acquisitions for eight years at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Vancouver. While at Stikeman, he advised clients on private and public acquisition files, financings restructurings and general governance matters. He has served as board chairman of the Steveston Harbour Authority since 2014, and until 2021, served as the Vice Chair of the board and Chair of the Governance Committee of the Provincial Health Services Authority, a public health authority with an annual budget of $4 billion. He is an experienced director and/or officer of a number of public companies, including Skeena Gold + Silver (NYSE:SKE), Beyond Oil Ltd. (TSX:BOIL) and Tiger Financial (CSE:BANQ). He is also an Adjunct Professor in Political Studies at Trinity Western University. Robert has a law degree from UBC and a BA in Political Studies from TWU.
Denise Pilla, Senior Corporate Governance Administrator
Denise Pilla is an experienced corporate secretary and is also responsible for regulatory filings and administrative support at Vancouver Corporate Solutions. She has years of experience in office administration and management and is an invaluable support for all of Vancouver Corporate’s valued clients, including serving as Corporate Secretary of Emergent Metals Corp. (TSXV:EMR) and Beyond Oil Ltd (TSX: BOIL). Denise has a business administration diploma from the University of the Fraser Valley and is currently completing the Canadian Securities Course.
Sarah Morbey, Corporate Governance Administrator
Sarah Morbey is experienced in research, quantitative analysis, and administrative coordination. As a Corporate Governance Administrator at Vancouver Corporate, she is responsible for efficiently meeting the needs of our clients and in executing various corporate secretarial, governance and regulatory compliance functions. Sarah has extensive experience in corporate administration, scheduling, and strategic problem-solving, bringing a strong analytical and detail-oriented approach to corporate governance and regulatory compliance. She is corporate secretary of Tiger Financial Services Inc. (CSE:BANQ) and Astra Exploration Inc. (TSXV:ASTR). Sarah holds a Bachelor in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
Ali Kiesman, Corporate & Administrative Clerk
Ali Kiesman is a Corporate & Administrative Clerk at Vancouver Corporate Solutions, supporting clients and assisting with various corporate administration and governance functions. She brings experience supporting organizational operations, preparing professional communications, and coordinating with a range of stakeholders, with a detail-oriented and organized approach. Ali holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Global Business option and a Marketing Communications Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
